Creativity Coaching

Life Coaching is the process of assisting people to recognize and attain personal goals. Creativity is a vital component of life. Creativity Coaching assists individuals to re-ignite, deepen, and expand their creative vision. As a coach and educator I believe that creative growth develops most fully in a supportive and collaborative atmosphere where the inner resources of the individual will grow and flourish. Together we will engage in transformative processes that explore the meaning and purpose of your creativity, generate inspiration, navigate challenges, and establish achievable goals. There are two main areas that we can focus on. These may overlap and interweave and are not mutually exclusive.

CREATIVE PROCESS

The desire to discover, re-connect with, or energize your expressive “voice” begins with inquiry into the deeper purposes of your creative spirit.

What is the origin and essence of your inspiration? Where do you discover meaning, passion, and beauty? How do you open to the imagination’s potential? Creative expression becomes an inherently growth oriented evolution of the individual when it honors the authenticity of personal vision.

Areas that may be addressed include: archetypal and symbolic process, spirituality, play, creative challenges, creating structure, and trusting the process.

PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE

There are many avenues to making your work visible in the world but the starting point comes with defining your essential needs, goals, and dreams. Delving into the language of your creative process is the foundation for this work. Through both inward reflection and outward action steps your evolving vision is clarified. The development of professional growth strategies that align with your personal integrity and intention then become possible.

Areas that may be addressed include: purpose and passion, teaching (workshops, classes, curriculum building), exhibition, project management, writing skills (residency applications, project proposals, artist statements) and balancing creative and professional practice. I also work with coaches and educators who desire to bring transpersonal creative processes into their professional practice with clients.
